My name is DeeAnna, I’m a filthy fucking casual and I’m happy that way!

Those from the gaming community will recognize that phrase. If you’re unfamiliar with the term it basically means this blog is a hobby I thoroughly enjoy. I’m not a professional musician, author, or gamer, but I know enough to be dangerous and occasionally entertaining.

I speak my mind and I don’t mince words. Here, I get to be the real me and not the alter ego that wears the corporate office persona. I get to talk about all the things I love to talk about, in the voice I want to talk about them in, and more importantly share those things with others. I consider this what I do for a living. Spending 50+ hours per week at a corporate supplied laptop, is what I do to pay the mortgage.

Review Policy

  • Books – I will accept market copy, ARC’s or galleys.
    • Not all review requests will be accepted.
    • If accepted, I will supply an address (physical or electronic, depending on the medium) where you can send the material to be reviewed. You will also be given an estimated turn around time as to when you can expect to see the review published.
    • Categories – I am currently accepting: literary fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, erotica, psychological thrillers, mystery, historical, political. I am currently NOT and will likely never accept: young adult, religious/spiritual, children’s, poetry, non-fiction (especially self help books).
  • Music – REAL music please. Meaning I will NOT accept rap, hip-hop, country, electronic (or whatever the fuck that shit kids play on Twitch is) but everything else is okay.
    • If I do not like the music a review will not be written. Tastes in music vary so wildly that I believe it best to only share what I love.
  • Movies, pretty much anything goes: horror, action/adventure, dramas, thrillers, indies, the list goes on.
  • Games – Platforms: PS4, PC
    • Categories – Anything but shooters. The culture there just bugs the fuck out of me.
  • ALL – I will definitely be happy to include link and cover image with the review. Just let me know where/what.
